Haven Nursecall System

The Haven System is ideal for two-way voice communication and security in seniors' facilities. The Haven System provides care, security and confidence for the user through two-way voice communication between staff and resident, and staff to staff. Non-emergency calls can be cancelled without going to the resident's room. Residents enjoy the confidence of virtually instant voice response when assistance is required. The mobility and flexibility provided by the Haven System significantly improves the productivity of staff in your facility. The financial payback from the Haven System is approximately 6 - 9 months.

Tunstall Piper Premier S & Portal

The Piper Premier S is a state-of-the-art "talking" personal emergency response system (PERS) manufactured and developed by Tunstall Group PLC. It is ideally suited to retirement homes, seniors' condos, Lifelease projects and independent seniors' communities.

When an emergency call is placed, the client receives voice confirmation that help has been summoned. Similarly, the care provider receives a verbal message indicating that the senior needs immediate assistance, and where the senior is located (i.e. apartment/room number). In the event of a power failure, phone line failure, etc., the client hears a voice message describing the problem, in contrast to a "beep" from other products.

The Tunstall Piper Premier S comes with a variety of pendant options, including a waterproof wrist pendant equipped with a lithium battery which should last up to ten years or 20,000 calls.

The Premier S can operate in personal respondent, professional or combined mode. Up to four personal respondents plus two professional monitoring centres can be used.

The Piper Premier S can be programmed at the unit as well as from a monitoring centre. The programming button is hidden, preventing the senior from unwittingly re-programming the unit in error, and potentially removing the emergency telephone numbers.

The Premier S can function for 16 - 20 hours under battery power. This can be significant in rural areas, where power outages are quite common and can often last for a considerable length of time.

Quick Response Wireless Call System

The Code Alert Quick Response System is an ideal wireless call system for existing structures, renovations or new construction. Residents who need assistance simply press a button on a wall or on a portable pendant, or pull a cord, to notify staff of an emergency. Staff can locate the resident anywhere in the building complex, including garden areas and underground garages. Quick Response is flexible, and expandable, so as your facility grows, and your needs change, so can the wireless call system.

Paging Systems

Tunstall paging solutions offer complete mobile paging for your staff by interfacing to your existing Pull-cord Nursecall system. We can also interface paging to your fire alarm panel, providing early warning for your staff of potential fire hazards. The paging system has the following features:
  • Immediate alerting to mobile pagers
  • Prioritization of messages (8 programmable levels)
  • Escalation Levels to Different Pagers
  • Full data logging & reporting of alarm calls
  • Preprogrammed messaging
  • Group calling
  • Local or wide area paging
  • Up to 1024 input points
  • Message acknowledgement
  • Connects to Wanderer Monitoring Systems
  • Interface to Fire Panels
Specifically designed to work with nurse call systems, the system uses pulsing of different duration to identify BATH and EMERGENCY calls. It will interface direct to the lighting panel with a single wire for each light. It is self-calibrating and senses the rate of flashing to determine which message to send. Each contact can be programmed with FOUR different messages; PRIORITY1 - Emergency Call, PRIORITY2 - Bath Call, PRIORITY3 - Room Call and RESET. Pager IDs and repeat time is also programmable.

When a resident pushes the call button in a room the light on the light panel will illuminate and the unit will sample the pulsing to determine what type of message will be sent to a pager worn by a caregiver. The message can be programmed to give the caregiver an exact location and name of the person needing assistance. The system can monitor door contacts and can be programmed or modified on site.

Wanderer Monitoring System

The Code Alert Wanderer Monitoring Systems provides you with a versatile, restraint-free, effective security system to ensure the safety of your wandering residents.

The lightweight, coded transmitter is the center of the system. When a resident wearing a transmitter passes through a monitored zone, the signal is relayed to a receiver and then to a control unit, which activates the audio alarm at the zone and any other installed options. Only a resident wearing a transmitter activates the alarm; everyone else can move freely through the monitored zone. The Code Alert Wanderer Monitoring System can be expanded as your needs grow.

Infant & Child Security System

The Code Alert Infant and Child Security System provides you with a restraint-free, effective security system to ensure the safety of your young patients.

Technological advancements make this system the leader in providing a safe and secure environment for newborns, children, parents and medical staff. A transmitter placed on the infant with an alarming band cannot be removed without activating the system alarm. Immediately upon activation, staff are informed audibly and/or visually of a security breach. Various or all exits may be automatically locked down to ensure that the child is not removed from the zone.
